A series of bold portraits by Chaïm Soutine, marking the fist display of work by the artist in the UK for 35 years. The Russian-French painter, of Jewish origin, had a lot of success in Paris in the 1920s and 30s, painting many of the cooks and wait staff of the French hotels and restaurants in their brightly coloured uniforms.
