Spring Issue Launch: Venezuela

Following the dramatic political upheavals in Venezuela in January, which saw the deposing of the country's President Nicholás Maduro, we explore the history of Jewish life in this turbulent Latin American nation. Read more about Jewish Venezuela in the Spring 2026 issue of JR and hear directly from some of the country's present day community at this online event. We'll be joined by the writer and poet Raquel Markus-Finckler, author Sonia Chacrón and Camille Breuer, a teacher at the Moral y Luces Herzl-Bialik Jewish school in Caracas.

Please register below to receive the Zoom link, which will be sent out by 3pm* on the day of the event. (We would appreciate it if you double check you have entered the correct spelling of your email address.)

Please note: You will need to log into the Zoom using the email address you signed up with. If you have multiple accounts, please check you are logging in and/or looking for the link using the email you used to book.

*If you book after 3pm on the day of the event, you will receive your link in an automated response to your booking, titled ‘Order Confirmed’. If you don’t think you’ve received it, please check your spam folder. If it’s not in your spam, email operations@jewishrenaissance.org.uk.
