Circling Around: JR Artists’ Development Scheme Exhibition

Over the last year, JR has been working with six up-and-coming visual artists, who’ve been exploring their connections to Jewishness in their creative practice. We’ve also provided masterclasses, mentoring and support from experts and established Jewish artists internationally. You can see the work of Yael Roberts, Sam Belinfante, Emma Grant, Bruno Grad, Esther Gabrielle Kersley and Coral Harding on display in central London at Calder Contemporary Gallery, where we are hosting two special events to celebrate the opening (19 Nov) and closing (26 Nov) of the exhibition.

We will also host an networking seminar for working artists, at which Andrew Renton – former founding director of Marlborough Contemporary Gallery and professor of curating at Goldsmiths, University of London – will be in conversation about the future of art in the UK.

If you can’t make any of the events, the exhibition will still be open to visit from 19 to 26 November. Attendance is free throughout, but a ticket will be required, so please book ahead to reserve your place, as space in the gallery is limited.
